A DAY IN THE LIFE OF ME PART 4

DAY 4 IN THE LIFE OF ME!! THIS IS OUR BEFORE BED ROUTINE. I USUALLY SIT AND KNIT WHILE THE CHILDREN TAKE THEIR BATHS AND GET READY FOR BED. MY HUSBAND BY NOW AND HE IS READING TO THEM. TONIGHT HE IS READING FROM THE BOOK SO MUCH MORE. HE IS TRULY A BLESSING TO ME AND I THANK OUR LORD EVERYDAY THAT HE PUT US TOGETHER ON THIS EARTH.

BEFORE BED I USUALLY HAVE SOME TEA AND WRITE LETTERS TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I ALSO TAKE OUT MY BIBLE AND HAVE SOME QUIET TIME WITH OUR LORD. I find that I get a full nights sleep when I read God's Word~I especially like the Psalms of David and studying about his life. He never turned his back on God even when he sinned big time and was being punished by God. He was a man after God's own heart and God loved him dearly as much as he loves each one of us. Repent from the heart like David did.

I HAVE PREPARED THE CHILDREN'S BEDROOMS AND EVERYTHING LOOKS NICE AND COZY FOR THEM WHEN THEY GO UP TO SNUGGLE UNDER THE WARM COZY QUILTS I HANDMADE FOR THEM. I have made a few more this winter for the spring. I am going to surprise them on Ressurection Sunday with their new Spring quilts.
THIS IS THE BOOK THAT MY DEAR HUSBAND IS READING TO THE OLDER ONES.

The older ones did a good job putting away the dishes and helping me clean the kitchen

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF ME PART 3

This is Day3 ~I have had my devotions, my children have been homeschooled with the older ones helping the younger ones~that is such a great blessing to me. We have had lunch, tea time, a little more homeschooling and now the children are reading, acting out their favorite characters in books, knitting, sewing, quilting, doing puzzles, coloring etc.

This is the time I get to stretch out and do my dvd's. I usually do Jack Lalanne. I spend about a half hour to an hour doing his dvd's. IT is when he was real young and has his black pants on with his black ballet slippers. They are wonderful to keep your shape and he was so ahead of his time nutrition wise. I have his whole set of dvd's. I really work up a sweat!1

The rest of the day from about 2pm on is spent doing crafts with wax. Making popcorn! Making myself another cup of coffee for a little more energy. Going back to my HOme ManageMent Binder to check if I need to get any housework I might have forgotten or to get some recipes for dinner. What I may need to buy in the grocery store etc. Those who have made the binder know how important it is for your day.

We went on a little hike today~enjoying the outdoors a little because it is supposed to snow later~which we are all excited about. There is something about those beautiful snowflakes that makes everything so white and clean looking~I look for a cardinal when it starts snowing and that completes the beauty of God's creation. God is everything to me. The Great Physician, The Creator, My Lord and Saviour and on and on. We love because He first loved Us!!!!

Tomorrow I will have my last day posted. I will post some recipes and dinner. I have put up the book that I am reading my children. My husband is reading my teens Sally Mally's book~Before You Meet Prince Charming. God bless you all and remember to keep Praising the Lord~He breathes life into you everyday. Rose
As you can see~I love to stretch out. My older ones had a kick taking these pictures of me!!!
Our knitting is all over the house. We are always knitting fingerless mitts for eachother. It keeps our hands warm and lets us do our school work with them on.
My Home Management Binder!!! Candy's Creation on her blog. I turn to this during the day to stay on my routine~some days my routine goes haywire! My older girls have added so many sewing, knitting, cross stitching paterns to it. It has come to mean a lot to us. I have added so many great recipe's for breakfast, lunch , dinnner and also homeopathic recipes for when we get the sniffles~Scripture verses fill up the binder~I am so happy with it. It goes everywhere with me!
About 2pm, I ground my Scottish Coffee Beans and make a nice cup of coffee for myself. I seem to be dragging a little at that time and need a little boost. I usually put my nice creamy goat milk in and sit and read my magazine Seasons at Home or Above Rubies etc.  The older ones put in organic corn kernals and pop corn while the little ones crank the handle around. You can see the corn poping through the little window on top.
Here are my dishes to set the table with for lunch and dinner. One of the children's chores is to keep them in the hutch nice and clean. They do a great job.
This is the best wax to mold and play with. It is from Germany and is really stiff when you open it~but the children love to warm the wax up in their hands and mold it into bridges, castles, all sorts of things. I just put it back in a plastic bag when they are done so they can use it again the next day.
My children's /teens favorite books!!! Here is another quilt I made last winter. Everyone has a handmade quilt~they picked out the flannel~I stuffed it with real warm batting and when I sit with them at night to put them to bed and read, pray to them~I quilt designs on it.

My children go on Memoria Press Online Academy~it is a classical curriculum where they learn Latin and Greek and Roman Myths~it is a Biblical Based Academy called the Highland Latin Academy in Kentucky. You can see what courses they offer and if you like them~sign your kids up. The teacher comes on live and there are other kids in the class to make penpals with. Also, you can set up a little microphone and answer the teachers questions out loud so the students and teacher can hear instead of typing the answer in. We have class on Mondays at 3:30 to 4:45. Other classes meet at different times.
Craft tiime!! The girls decided to make candles out of our baby jars. They cut out the tissue paper and glued it to the jars~then they put a little votive inside and made a prayer card. They love copying scripture from the Bible and posting it on our refrigerator. It goes under "SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY"
The baby is up!! My little helper  is going in to play with him!!!
This is our time that we play, color, read. The Stockmar Crayons in this picture are the best I have ever had for my children. They really last forever!!! They are from Germany as are all the other colored pencils and art supplies I buy.
Kitty Sleeping on the one of the Quilts I made last Winter.
Reading time with her favorite doll Mrs. Beasley.
